From the developer: The free xBoosta 2 LE edition enables you to create multimedia applications (NEW: photo/diashow feature) which start directly from any media and never require installation. Even audio (wav, mp3) and video (mpg-1) support is fully native and independent of installed codecs on the endusers PC. Unique features: no install, single-file-packaging (optional service), native audio/video support, no programming. No programming is required as xBoosta 2 follows a content management-type philosophy separating code from content. You can easily update the content of your xBoosta 2 multimedia application without any re-programming or technical skills. For maximum flexibilty, all multimedia logic is stored in your xBoosta 2 configuration files as text.

Resulting multimedia applications achieve the maximum possible acceptance from endusers (no installation, no DLLs, no system modifications). Media support includes jpg, gif, bmp, mp3, wav and mpg-1 video. The free xBoosta 2 LE edition can be used privately and on a non-commercial basis for an indefinite time but is limited to three audio tracks and one video track. Advanced editions provide added functionality such as support for internet links and email support, the launching of shell or exe applications, diashow and offline-HTML. Furthermore, they support multi-lingual multimedia applications. Corporate customers enjoy a further xBoosta 2 XtremePack-Service which packages the complete multimedia application including all media in a single executable file.
