EMailTrackerPro analyzes the e-mail header and provides the IP address of the machine that sent the e-mail, useful for identifying the source of e-mail of malicious e-mail. Many spammers employ the technique of misdirection to disguise the sender; eMailTrackerPro helps uncover misdirection to expose the true origins of the e-mail.

A plug-in for MS Outlook adds a button to the Outlook toolbar for one-click e-mail tracking. For other e-mail programs, the header information may be easily pasted into eMailTrackerPro for quick analysis. A built-in location database tracks e-mail to a country or region of the world, and hyperlink integration with VisualRoute provides more detailed geographic traces.
