eBookGuard: This program is for authors who want to sell or distribute text material online. This program will encrypt your Microsoft Word, text files or rich text format files. This includes an eBook reader for displaying the document. Users cannot copy your files. This program is ideal for authors who wish to sell books and/or technical information online. This program works, optionally, with ShareGuard to provide a lock and key system for selling e-books.

3 Basic Components: eBookGuard Publisher - allows you tailor your e-Book and to create your document. eBookGuard Editor - allows you create or import your document. eBookGuard Reader - with this program the encrypted data is distributed. Only the eBookGuard Reader can decrypt the document. Security Features: eBookGuard Reader - the eBookGuard reader program will decrypt your document and display it to the user. The user cannot cut and paste, print (unless allowed) or save the document. Use ShareGuard to lock the e-book.
