The dSPAM range of products is designed to rid your mailbox of the never-ending tide of junk e-mail ('spam') that threatens to swamp it. dSPAM uses a combination of 'key-phrase' matching, heuristic analysis, blacklists, and trusted lists, and real-time program updates. New 'opt-in' feature allows users to elect to receive messages in a range of subject categories. E-mail addresses or domains can be marked as trusted, or alternatively, can be added to your own personal blacklist--for mailing lists where unsubscribing is a problem. dSPAM can reject e-mails with different types of suspicious HTML content, such as 'Iframes', ActiveX controls and the in-line images that identify your e-mail address as 'live' to the spammers. Users can access POP3 mailboxes directly and browse, read, delete, and retrieve individual e-mail messages from the remote mail server. This installation functions as either Lite, Standard, or Business Server Edition and works with all POP3 e-mail clients.
Version 3.6.6 features unspecified improvements and bug fixes.
