Zoom is a package for Web developers to easily add a powerful search engine to a Web site server. Fast search results are made possible by pre-indexing. Unlike other solutions relying on server-side software, Zoom does this from the convenience of your own Windows computer. Features include: spider & offline indexing modes, searching of DOC, PDF, PPT, XLS files, wildcard searches, exact phrase mathcing, Windows GUI indexer, Google like results, logging, and more. PHP or ASP is required on the server to run the search script. The Zoom search engine is compatible with IIS and Apache Web servers and a Javascript version is available for CD searching.
