From the developer: X10 Compatable Camera Control System Software. Supports SVGA resolutions of 800X600 and 1024X768 and either 4, 8 or 16 X10 compatible cameras. System also supports the VT-38A Floodlight camera and up to TWO motion detectors per camera. No more bank switching or manual control of your X10 Cameras. This system takes care of that for you. The system is extensively controlled and configurable by the user via a preferences panel. Anyone who has struggled with X10s Multiview software will appreciate this software. The inherant limitations of only 4 camera support, the 640X480 resolution limitation and the fact that the motion detection logic flat doesn't work. The MultiView limitations inspired the development of my X10 Camera Control System. This software supports the following: - System supports 4, 8 or 16 cameras . - Support is provided for up to 16 cameras by tracking the current active camera. The software physically turns off the active camera before physically turning on the next camera. There is no dependency on having the cameras in the same bank. - This software is designed to function with a resolution of 800X600 OR 1024X768 at 16 or 32 bit SVGA or greater. - Full motion detection is incorporated and fully functional. The system supports up to TWO motion detectors per camera. - JPG capture is also supported upon motion detection. The capture rate is defined by the user and stored in a location defined by the user. - AVI creation is supported with this software. AVI will record for a period of time defined by the user and stored in a location defined by the user. - There is an option to save frames to a network drive which I use as my IIS server. A Java script then refreshes the images to a website. The Java script is not included with this software. - The software is dynamically upgradeable. That is, upgrading from 4 to 8 cameras does not require any further installation.
