TablEdit creates, edits, prints, and plays tablature and sheet music for guitar and other fretted stringed instruments (see screen shot). It can open ASCII, MIDI, ABC, Bucket O' Tab, Tabestry, and earlier versions of TablEdit files. Files can be saved in TablEdit format or exported to ASCII or MIDI formats. This version has greater precision in defining the printout scale. Features include previews of a track or channel prior to MIDI import, exclusion of time signatures from printouts, and the ability to change the font for each note in the tablature. It also adds context-sensitive help for every dialog box, a new tremolo bar effect, and many other enhancements for diatonic accordionists. Updated features include an Autosave feature with automatic restoration after an abnormal termination, multitrack printouts, improved text control, and improved duet management.
