SlickSlide supports the following file formats: JPEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF, XPM, XCF, PCX, and LBM. Additionally, some aspects of a slide show can be controlled from the keyboard while the slide show is running (for instance, slowing down the scroll speed or advancing to the next image).
