Service Pack Manager 2000 is an automated network security patch management tool. It enables fixing security vulnerabilities and stability problems in Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 and additional Microsoft products, such as IIS, Exchange, SQL, ISA, IE, Outlook, and Windows Media Player. It remotely detects, tracks, monitors, and installs service packs and hotfixes on enterprise networks from a central console. The increasing number of viruses such as Code Red, Nimda, Blaster, and Sasser worms and continuous discoveries of security flaws in Microsoft products mandate cost-effective security measures. SPM2000 protects both servers and workstations on the enterprise networks. The following additional MS products are supported: IIS 4.0 on WinNT 4.0; IIS 5.0 on Win2K and IIS 5.1 on WinXP; Exchange 5.5 Server on WinNT 4.0; Exchange 2000 Server on Win2K; SQL Server 7.0/2000; ISA Server 2000; Outlook 98/2000/2002/2003; Outlook Express.
