River Past Audio Capture is easy-to-use, fast, and powerful audio-recording software. Record audio for audio CDs, MP3 players, and Internet streaming, or record audio for your favorite video-editing and -authoring software. The program enables you to capture audio from a sound card (microphone, line-in, or speakers) and output to MP3, WMA (Windows Media Audio), WAV, and AVI (audio only) formats. For WAV, MP3, and AVI output, you can choose the audio codec, sample rate, channel, bits per sample, and bit rate. For WMA, you can choose from a list of Windows Media profiles.
The program can be used as a universal audio converter. Just play your audio or video files (RM, RA, MIDI, MOV, QT, AVI, WMV, WMA, AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, VCD, SVCD, DVD) in your regular player, and use River Past Audio Capture to record from speakers, by setting Stereo Mix or WAV as the input connector. Adjust the recording volume level manually, even during the recording, or let the software adjust it automatically.
