RasterVect can transform any raster image into a vector format. Raster drawings can be imported by scanning original paper drawings from any scanner with TWAIN support. The target vector formats (DXF, WMF, EMF, EPS, and AI) are supported by most CAD applications that use vector graphics, such as AutoCAD and Corel Draw. Viewing tools include zooming, scrolling, and color selection. The program has four conversion methods (including outline and centerline); has Ortho and Snap modes; keeps the scale of an initial drawing; can correct a turn angle of an initial raster drawing; has various raster filters (despeckle, smoothing, median, holes removing); has vector- and raster-editing capabilities; has a batch mode (with macro); supports various raster and vector formats; and has a combined (raster and vector) format.
Version 8.7 includes new raster tools, and a few minor bugs have been fixed.
