From the developer: "PERT Chart EXPERT is project management software used to plan and display projects using a PERT chart (also known as a Network Chart, Precedence Diagram or Logic Diagram). PERT Chart EXPERT shows tasks and the dependencies between tasks in an easy to understand chart. PERT Chart EXPERT is both a standalone planning program and an add-on to Microsoft Project.

"As a planning tool, use PERT Chart EXPERT to quickly sketch a project plan on the screen using a PERT/Network chart approach. Click with the mouse to define Tasks and Dependencies. Doubleclick a task to add schedule information. PERT Chart EXPERT automatically calculates Critical Path to show you which tasks have the most impact on the schedule. You can also display a Timescale or Group tasks in the PERT chart. PERT charts can be maintained separately or transferred to Microsoft Project.

"PERT Chart EXPERT is also used to create PERT charts directly from existing Microsoft Project plans. A PERT toolbar button is installed into Microsoft Project for easy transfer of data.
