ODBiC is a simple but powerful interface between your Web pages and your ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) databases. It can run as a CGI program or as a command-line program to insert data into your HTML documents, or to update the databases from Web browser forms. This program uses ANSI SQL (Structured Query Language) and an easy scripting language in HTML template files. Special features include automatic query by example, automatic HTML database update forms, and automatic HTML table generation and HTML choice lists from queries. It also supports browser redirection, external program execution, arithmetic/logic and character string expressions, and much more. ODBiC works with any CGI-compliant Web server and can be run offline.
This new version's enhancements include automatic boolean keyword searching, direct email output, easy-to-use cookie support, easy input data validation, and much more. This is a 30-day trial. Registration is $39.
