Medusa is a tool for finding images, movie-clips and other kinds of files on web pages and downloading them. You start by entering a starting URL and Medusa searches for the file types you are interested in on this page and all pages found up to a given depth. If a file has a thumbnail the thumbnail is downloaded and displayed in Medusa making it easy to choose which files to download. Medusa has a familiar Explorer-style interface so it is easy to learn and use.

Version 1.2 has support for password restricted websites and embedded images. It can also display 25 different image formats and Medusa now offers automatic download as well as customized renaming of files.
