Mailtraq is a comprehensive and powerful performance e-mail server. An affordable alternative to Microsoft Exchange, Mailtraq is easy to install and manage. Mailtraq provides collaboration services, including shared mail folders, shared calendaring, directory services, and highly customizable WebMail (with spell checking). Mailtraq also includes antispam, antivirus, and content-control features, along with a news, mailing list, and monitored proxy server. Instant messaging, remote address book access, and new e-mail notification is provided by the free Mailtraq Assistant utility. Mailtraq is compatible with Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and any SMTP/POP3/IMAP mail client.

Mailtraq supports ESMTP, IMAP, NNTP, LDAP, ODMR, ETRN, and provides a reliable MX delivery system. The server is also highly extensible using JavaScript or VBScript and supports third-party extensions using an open interface.
