Local IO is a .NET Tag Server component that resides in your client application that currently interfaces to OPC DA servers. This is not simply an OPC interface wrapper. You never have to deal with OPC communications because your tag values are kept updated in the background for you. The Tag Server assembly encapsulates all of the complex communications details. On the application side you are presented with native .NET interfaces for retrieving and writing your instrumentation data using events and/or polling. You can also choose to either build your own UI or use the built in UI. Our XML based help is integrated into the Visual Studio .NET editor's IntelliSense and Object Browser. You will typically be able to get real-time data into your application in just a few minutes.
