Lizard Application Monitor performs scheduled execution of pre-designed tasks to monitor URL's, various TCP/IP based protocols, local and distributed COM/DCOM objects, responsiveness to ICMP ping, WMI objects like NT Performance counters (automatically discovered), NT Event, and application logs. Ability to execute custom monitoring tasks designed as libraries or scripts significantly extends the monitoring power. For each value returned by the monitoring task alert condition can be specified and alert notification in form of SMS or e-mail message can be sent to several notification groups with variety of notification options. On-failure actions attachable to each monitoring task provide automatic recovery feature. Monitoring results are presented through the set of hierarchical graphical reports covering recent and historical statistics. Two management interfaces are available for operator: local GUI and remote Web client. Integrates with Microsoft .NET.
