LanHelper can scan network at high speed and it can even detect writable or read-only shared folders with the powerful and special engine. You can use Remote Wake up to power-on machines that support Wake-On-LAN function on LAN or WAN. You can shut down or reboot remote machines within local network. With Remote Execute function LanHelper can make remote machine execute a command, run a program, or open files. Using LanHelper Integrated Command in Remote Execute, you can make the remote machine log off, power off, or hibernate, or lock even if the machine is on a different subnet you can reach. You can check whether machines are online, and detect whether IPs or computer-names have been modified or not at the same time. You can send messages to users, computers, workgroups, or the whole LAN. The scan results are saved to an XML file that can be used in other programs or be browsed in browser.
