INM is an easy to use, browser-controlled network monitor that can help you monitor a variety of different protocols and services on LAN or Internet machines. It runs under Windows 2000 and Windows XP as a service and consumes minimal system resources. The interface is Web-based and all you need is a device with a Web browser to control INM. Monitoring agents include RDP 5.0 (Windows Terminal Server), ICA (Citrix Metaframe 1.7-1.8), SNMP, Windows Performance Counters, ODBC, LDAP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, DNS, TFTP, IMAP4 TCP Port scan (Firewall test), SSH2, Ping, CPU load, disk space... The program is able to log errors and informational messages to XML file, Syslog, Windows Event log, or an ODBC database. Notification options include SMS, NotePage, PageGate, and of course e-mail.
New in version 2.1 is creation of reports based on logged statistics from the agents. Reports can contain charts from many sources as well as summary uptime, custom text, and images.
