From the developer: The GroupCalendar add-in monitors the private Outlook calendar and writes changes to a database on a network share. If Exchange Server is used and a public folder is set as the Group Calendar, the changes are visible in real-time. If no Exchange Server is available, a subfolder of the private calendar will serve as the GroupCalendar. In that case a synchronization utility runs from the systemtray to synchronize the GroupCalender with the database that holds all appointments of the co-workers. Standard Outlook views and filters can be used to show the appoinments grouped by the newly added field 'department' or by standard Outlook fields.
