Allowing the rapid entry of patient visit data using a 'point and click' system. 2. Adding real-time decision support so that you have access to relevant information at the right time. Decision support examples include: Child development indicators relevant to the patient's age; Point and click selection of problems, symptoms, and signs with the display of a clinical approach and list of possible diagnoses; Point and click selection of fractures based on the AO/ASIF system; Cardiac risk calculation; Suggested diagnosis, tests, and treatment; Electronic prescription writer that checks for allergies and interactions.
