File Chopper splits files of any sizes into smaller ones of any sizes, mainly for storing and transferring files that are too big. These files may be restored either by using the File Chopper again, or by using a DOS batch file that may be created at the time of splitting. The sizes of the split files may be chosen from a list that covers floppy discs, zip drives, CD-ROM, DVD and other media but it is fully editable to allow for modifications and additions of own sizes. File Chopper works on Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP and on all Windows file systems, i.e., on FAT16 (FAT), FAT32 and NTFS. The downloaded program is a self-extracting installation program that will install the File Chopper program together with some HTML help documentation and a short cut to the executable.
