DriveScrubber is a utility designed to ensure the safety, privacy, and security of personal, confidential, or proprietary information. It safely and securely wipes all data left on drives before computers are donated, resold, or recycled. DriveScrubber can also be used to clean up after a virus attack. DriveScrubber is fast and easy to use, works with ANY PC, and sanitizes ANY drive, regardless of its file format or operating system. Once a drive has been wiped, previously existing data cannot be recovered, regardless of the recovery tools used. DriveScrubber uses US Department of Defense (DoD 5220.22) methods to ensure that ALL data on any drive is permanently disposed of, beyond ALL possible techniques of recovery. It works by using techniques independent of standard operating systems, wiping data from the beginning of a drive to the end, scrubbing it clean of data hiding in places that standard formatting, operating system based-utilities, and anti-virus software cannot reach.
