DiskView integrates with Microsoft Windows Explorer to present a clear visual indication of disk-space usage. Its Visualizer pane provides detailed usage information about the current folder in the form of graphically rich charts. The space occupied by files and folders can be seen using DiskView's 'Size on disk' and 'Relative size' columns in the details view of Windows Explorer. DiskView can also put size-indicator bars next to each folder in Windows Explorer's tree view and includes a handy toolbar that provides easy access to all these features. DiskView helps find big files and folders at a glance, and allows you to graphically see and visually manage your disk space within Windows Explorer.

Version 1.2 features enhancements to the DiskView folder-size Columns, Visualizer and the Options pane. It also includes further improvements in performance, quality and stability leading to attainment of Microsoft's Verified for Windows XP certification.
