Monitor everything that happens on your PC while you are not there. Desktop Scout logs every application that is used, records every keystroke typed into any application, and saves regular screenshots of the desktop so these can be reviewed later by you. The software can be used remotely, so you can monitor what is happening on other workstations in real time. Advanced users can also choose to download files, start/stop programs, or block access to any program and Web site.

The software includes a high level of security. Access to the program is restricted by an administrator password, and all traffic sent over the network is encrypted to prevent eavesdropping. Because the software runs as a Windows Service, the software is impossible to disarm without administrator privileges and the administrator password.
