The DB Companion is a database utility that enables database administrators to schedule routine maintenance for Microsoft Access databases. The DB Companion has the ability to compact, repair, and back up databases at a scheduled time. By doing routine maintenance on Access databases, an administrator can reduce the chance of corruption and increase the performance of the database. This in turn increases productivity and reduces troubleshooting time. The new version features a multiuser section allowing you to send messages to active users of a database and disconnect users from a database remotely.
