DAC for MySQL (former MySQLDAC) allows you to create Delphi 5-7 and C++ Builder 5/6 applications with direct access to MySQL DB without BDE and ODBC. BLOB fields are supported. This components set was developed for easy migration of existing projects from a BDE/ODBC scheme to the native one. TDBImageEx component for JPEG images support is included in the package for free (with sources).
