Crime Catcher is software for your Webcam that allows your computer to act as a security system. Available in Standard and Professional editions with support for up to 4 Webcams/inputs, the software will monitor for motion and if detected actions can take place. Main features include e-mail notifications with attachments, FTP images to an FTP server, Web page mode -- image uploaded every x seconds, and playing sounds / launching programs when motion is detected. You can also mask out areas, which could cause false alarms, produce reports on captured images in HTML and write images to an AVI movie file. More advanced features include remote surveillance and being able to hide Crime Catcher completely from view. You can of course set a password for extra security. Crime Catcher is fully configurable yet very easy to use (just one click to start monitoring on multiple cameras).

Version 3.0 supports 4 inputs and features improved report viewer and e-mail options.
