Call Assistant is an innovative caller id program that logs caller id information (name, number, date/time, rings, and if the call was answered) into a database of unlimited size. It provides a powerful search utility that allows a user to track any call or set of calls within its database. A database of contacts can be created to help identify incoming calls. Incoming calls can be displayed with a pop-up window, announced with a text-to-speech engine and/or custom sounds. Call Assistant is capable of blocking any incoming call or group of calls (like private, unknown or a custom group of numbers). It can automatically start with Windows and run in the background as a system tray icon. It has full network capabilities and features that enable the user to generate database statistics and create caller graphs.
