COLAide is a program written specifically for AOL users. (The developer is not affiliated with America Online or any division thereof.) Program features include automated AOL start-up with a user-selected screen name, keyword, or URL and boot-time/startup delay; automated closing of the ?Quick-Start? or ?Channels? window; removal of chat room graphics images; anti-timeout functions; time synchronization (synchronize your PC's clock with the AOL online clock). The program also includes ?Windows Wiping? capability, which allows the user to clean up or close several windows within the main AOL program interface; the Welcome, Buddy List, and Chat Room windows. The program is compatible with U.S. versions of the AOL software, at versions 6.0 through 9.0. The download is an installer, which also serves as a registration tool and uninstaller.
