This security program requests your username and password (or simply your password) upon boot-up. It is designed so that it cannot be bypassed if used on a machine running Windows 95/98/Me, and it is useful in preventing unwanted users from gaining access to your PC. Access Denied includes multiuser support (up to 450 user accounts), password encryption, the option for administrator to set up and check passwords, screensaver integration, and color highlighting of log files. An integrity test is also included.
Users can change their passwords without being an administrator if upon installing this feature is enabled. Program is able to save short messages even if the Screen Guard is on. Possible to synchronize Access Denied usernames with Windows logon names. The trial version keeps logs for only one week.
