SearchDisc is a Java-based, search engine tool for CD, DVD, CD collections or Desktop. It offers full-text indexing and searching for HTML, XML, PDF, MS Office and Text documents for all European Languages (Latin 1). Additional modules for: data encryption, user rights management and support for multiple cd collections. Cross-platform (Windows/Mac/UNIX/Linux etc.)
