AIPL Singulator v1.4 records albums, tapes, and DATs in WAV files while automatically separating songs in real time and stopping when finished. While Singulator is working, you can be off playing. In addition, it is much easier and faster to interact with these smaller WAV files than with one large WAV file, and your computer will crash less often. Once your album or tape has been recorded into separate WAV files, you can then use other inexpensive products for noise reduction. Finally, you can convert these singles to MP3, RM, or WMV, or you can burn them to a CD. AIPL's sound separation algorithm is based upon a theoretical and experimental analysis of old analog recordings, and the user interface is designed for maximum flexibility.
